Who we are
This company was started from the ground up by world-famous researcher, Joey Licari - who is simply trying to get to the bottom of one eternal question humanity still has not successfully answered:
Who let the dogs out?
We are a Chicago-based investigative organization dedicated to tracking, documenting, measuring, and studying real-life instances of “Who Let The Dogs Out” being physically played inside American bars, taverns, dives, dancefloors, casinos, basement bars, back patio parties, broom closets, and any other establishment where dogs metaphorically (or literally) could be let out.
We collect eyewitness entries.
We verify locations.
We log the energy, the vibe, and the reaction impact metrics.
When the song plays - we want to know.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create the first true national database, timeline, and scientific registry of WTDO (Who Let The Dogs Out) events in the United States. We are taking something the world has always joked about, and turning it into a formalized academic discipline. No more speculation. No more hearsay. No more “I think someone played it at Mickey’s Tavern last week.”
We want evidence. We want data. We want truth.
This is cultural anthropology meets investigative journalism meets absurdist sociology.
Why It Matters
Every time this song gets cued…something happens in the room. There is energy. There is a shift. A primal reaction. This company exists to study that. To catalog it. To quantify it.
We believe that within this data - we will eventually discover the core answer.
The Future
We plan to expand across the country, integrating real-time submissions, crowdsourced reports, and location tagged data from citizens participating coast-to-coast. Eventually one day, we will have the definitive historical ledger of exactly who let the dogs out, where they let them out, how many dogs were let out, and what the public emotional response was.
We are not guessing anymore.
We are documenting the truth.
Stay tuned. The dogs will be found.
